you aint gettin them off.

when the rims are new just wash them every 2 days then the rims will stay clean.

That would have been the best way, but I bought the car with 10k miles. I don't think the previous owner ever washed it.

+1 I've also heard of people waxing their wheels occasionaly. As far as getting it off then you're best bet is a lot of elbow grease.

If you really want to get it off you may want to try a professional grade product from one of the detailing websites. Check out detailersdomain.com. They are vendors on EvoM and give a 10% discount to everyone on the forum. There's a product called P21S wheel gel. You spray it on, agitate it with a nice wheel brush, and let it sit for 10-15 min. It may not be aggressive enough. You can also PM detailersdomain on EvoM and ask him what he suggests, but I've seen P21S handle some scary shit lol.

After that pick up a nice wheel wax or even go to Harbor Freight and pick up a wax called Collinite 476s or 845 Insulator Wax. Both are known for their longevity and will be fine on the wheels and keep brake dust off them.

I'm sure he would be OK with that, just make sure it's a first class ticket so you know he'll do his best work. :)

lol True! Maybe next time I'm in town. You guys know I always hook you up on prices! Feel free to ask me for advice though and like I said Phil from Detailerdomain on EvoM will be able to point you in the right direction as far as what will be the most effective to remove it and that wax will work great on the wheels.

Tripp knows I know my way around a bucket and a brush. I take pride in washing the Evo.
