Please, if you are willing to come to Birmingham and help EPM test fit their new one=piece O2 housing + downpipe, let me know. They need a car for test fitment. It will only take a day.
If you bring your Exo X, you can take the part home with you! Free part, free install!

EPM (EvoPowerMods) is a small subset of No Limit Industries, a local fabrication shop. The entered the Evo scene by releasing their divorced O2 housing with open wastegate dump pipe. http://forums.evolutionm.net/vendor-announcements/342112-o2-dump-housing-evopowermods-com.html. I helped with the development and testing. Their parts are all hand-made right here in Birmingham.
They are working on some other pipes and such for the CT9A and are looking to move to the X. The O2 housing would be the first part released.
A mani they made for one of the fastest stock turbo CT9As ... http://forums.evolutionm.net/vendor-announcements/380665-epm-nasty-habanero.html
Joey and I run their O2 housing ... it sounds like this ... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pJO0si6vDxg

It's an open wastegate dump, just like the product for the VIII/IX. Talk to Q if you are interested and he can try to work with your schedule ...

Yeah, that's an option too. Todd (the owner) said that you could leave it on there, take it with you ... whatever. You might like it better than what you have and want to keep it, or you might want to sell the EPM parts or something. They'd probably only ask that you sell the parts after they are released though.

I'll do it if you still need a car. I am in Bham all the time. That is where I am from and most of my friends and family still live there.

Good to hear ... if you make yourself available, you could probably get some sweet deals on the parts they make in the future.

Yeah, we talked about that and he mentioned some other parts to me also. I am available pretty easily for that area as my family lives there and my wife is always looking for a reason to come back home to see her family and friends also. Win/Win situation as my wife hates it when I spend so much time with my cars (she should be use to it by now) but loves to go back to Bham for any reason.

I went there this past weekend and the guys over at EPM got an idea of what is needed for the parts. I am scheduled to go back in two weeks to give them time to fabricate everything.
I highly recommend this company to anyone!!! They go out of their way to ensure that you are taken care of. Hopefully in two weeks I will be able to give you guys a review on the part.

UPDATE:
After talking to EPM yesterday, I will be leaving my car with them for a week so that they can work on the part more. Everything is going to be a bit more difficult than originally thought so my car will be left in Bham for a week.

UPDATE:
EPM has finished up the prototype of the Downpipe w/ external dump. Car feels much stronger in the mid to high end RPM. So far, this is a A++ product.
The owner of EPM mentioned to me that they are in need of another X to try out the part. If you are interested, contact EPM about trying to get in.
Since they developed the part on my car, we didn't do a before and after dyno as no one in Birmingham has an AWD dyno. It would be great if the person who gets the next one does a dyno before they have it installed and another afterwards.
