I just got back from the dealership with a brand new Mitsubishi Manitoba Green Outlander SE for my wife. The salespeople were very appreciative for giving them business. I got a fantastic deal for it, especially since I qualified for the $500 active duty military, $500 loyal Mitisubishi customer, $500 internet rebate, and 3.9% for 60 months. I'll post some pictures as soon as I take some.

Thats cool. Trying to decide which small suv to get my wife. Awaiting pics!

Does the montero have towing capabilities at all?

I don't Mitsubishi makes the Montero anymore. I was stuck between the Honda CR-V, Toyota RAV4 and the Mitsubishi Outlander. They all are very similar in stature, safety, and capabilities. The Outlander won out because it just looks more aggressive and I got a better deal. Not to mention that my last two cars have been Mitsus.

I worked at Toyota for years and can comment on the Rav4's. Great cars and the new ones have a great V6 engine!

We're actually going to put 35" tires on and slap a hemi in it. :D

It does have a lot of room. It also has third row seating that folds down into the bed. I would say it was the uniform, but I was in civies. Plus the dealerships in this area, I would say about 95% of their business is the military.

I noticed in the chat box that you are heading to Tennessee. Where at? I'll be heading back to Atlanta tomorrow.

Some people call it arrogance, I call it confidence. :D

She loves the color and she is liking it more and more. We traded in her 2001 Volkswagen New Beetle which she adored so there is bound to be some growing pains. Thanks for the compliment.

well, i didnt spend the night. it was so foggy, we went to rock city and ruby falls. had a friend and her daughter that had never been so...,we headed up there and hung out for a while....
and i agree, it's confidence..... arrogance (to me) is when someone acts it and doesnt have it; confidence (to me) is having it, but not having to prove it... it just shows by your demeanor.... so you my friend are not arrogant;)

I wished you would have asked while I was still at home, but I'm back in Atlanta. It is very nice though. It even has the paddle shifters like the Evo.

She will enjoy it. I bought my wife an 08 Outlander four days after I bought my X and she loves the SUV. Oh, and most of the performance upgrades for the 08 Lancer GTS work on the SE Outlander.

Only reason I picked up the Outlander was when I was up there getting my EVO detailed, they offered me 0% for 72 months and all the other discounts.

That's a good APR. I was wondering if there were any performance upgrades, it's good to see that Lancer GTS parts work.
