Just fooling around a few days ago, got a few quick pictures of my MR. I'm no pro, so cut me a little slack. Enjoy!

Unlikely, the blue one's tranny is at Sheppard right now to have the 5th rebuilt. Im hoping to have it back in by the time you arrive, but there is still a lot of work that needs to be done on her before she is ready to go. She will be going to CBRD in about 3 weeks for a nice bit of work ;) My 09 budget on this car is significantly less than this past year, but still includes a great deal of work. Im hoping to have the car 100% done by April, but you know how that goes...

;) Expensive habbit, but I love these cars! Gotta have fun when I'm not on the track too! :D

To answer a few questions the blue one will be kinda under wraps for awhile ;) It will be completely different than it looked previously. Im getting it ready for the 09 time attack season. Im getting kinda a late start on things, but I was waiting for everything to fall into place. Chad is a great guy and I cant wait to work with him and the rest of the CBRD staff.

Chinton, I have a few videos of the car at the track from last season, but they are poor quality.

Jamil, they were taken with a Nikon D300 ;) The car was actually very dirty and the lighting was weird due to a off color street light, hence the orange haze over the car. I thought it made for a cool looking shot though :D

Which track days will you be going? I will be going to most of NASA events in Atlanta this year. Man, we get to use Atlanta Motor Park this year!

That Atlanta Motorsports Park looks awesome! I have talked to a friend of mine for several years now about such an idea. Sadly, the only way I could ever see it happening is if I hit the lottery. Oh well, seems like someone beat me to it anyway.

Holy crap! They should do it like they do with the Nurburgring. Just pay a fee for each lap. I don't know many people who have 35k to spend on a lifetime membership to a race track...

^ That is a lot of money for one individual who only does weekend races for fun.

thats the point :) I need to get as much track time as I can for testing. Plus, it has many benefits ontop of just track time ;)

Hey ryan, I went home on lunch talking it up to the wife. her answer was " for 35k, you could drive to utah(where mmp, the biggest track in u.s) and stay for a week, six times a year. including your gas, in 35 years it wouldn't cost 35k". lol, I guess i can't join you, :p. I find it funnier, that she is a closest EVOA lurker. I started telling her about the track and I get to the price, and she blurts it out before I could finish.

p.s

Honey, I love you! :D

okay, okay. so she called me to correct this. she said once a year, for 10 years. I listen sooooooooooo well. smile

lol! thats hilarious. Oh and I dont think that math is correct :P 6 weeks of track time is quite expensive if your not a member somewhere ;) I understand her argument though, lol.

They do have cheaper memberships available, I believe around 7K that allows for track use and some of the amenities, but I believe you still have to pay monthly and daily fees.
