Wheel Color

Hey guys, need a few opinions. I am going to be getting new wheels for my track Evo. I am looking at doing a set of Volk CE28N 18x10.5 +18. I need a few opinions on color. Flat black or Formula Limited? Or if you have any other suggestions. For those of you who dont know my track car, its widebody BBY, hence the wheel size.

whats a formula color?

i reall ylike the polished black look. but that may not be the option on the rims.

you could do like dark navy blue with lots of clear to compliment your blue color.

its a track car it dont nessasarily have to match and go with your paint to set off the look. ya know?

you could even pull off red rims with your rol cage painted red :P

I think flat black would look good on a track car. I also recognize the garage in the background. LOL.

The polished lip on the formula seems to bling for a track car.

I said other. Its a track car, go with something crazy and flashy. I would love to do some dark purple on my wicked white or maybe J's racing teal. But that will be when it is a track car. Have fun with it. Its your car do what pleases you and you will be really happy.

Flat black would be my preference out of the choices, but at the end of the day it is YOUR decision on what to get. If you're not satisfied by the color in the future just powder coat it.:)

Whenever i get new wheels for the X, it'll be those wheels in flat black.... I love the look on blacktrack's car and that'll go perfect with mine :D

formula with the lip painted that Jun yellow! that would look gooooood. that would stand out against your blue. it would be like, 'wtf??!?!?!! but daaayyyyummmmm, that looks good!!!!'. then everybody would say, 'who was that??? that car loooooked sweet, and fast as fast!' (or faster)

Haha Jon, dont hate! Remember the RE30s I tracked on at Summit Point? They are the same color and would look similar. Rotas=warp on track.

I had Robi roll mine, but Im not sure who else could do it besides Butler tire.

I agree, I think polished lips look good on 350z's and BMW's.

To clarify, we have a set of the FS here but they are 350z fitment 19x9.5 19x10.5 staggered. I would need a different size obviously. ;) I think the polished lip is fine, but I am a huge fan of the flat black.

Flat black can never become old.:) Polished/chrome lips on the other hand are fugly, imo.

Ryan buy whatever color is cheaper and powdercoat them flashy orange, that will stand out on track... and on track you want to be flashy for sponsorship purposes, you want to bring attention...

That's my opinion if it will be track only car...

I think either wheel would look good. I prefer black myself.

I'm not a fan of polished lip wheels, but I have to admit, I like the one you posted. Looks aggressive!
