I miss the whore to be totally honest with you, her BOV was obnoxiously loud and scared small animals and pedestrians on a daily basis...and yeah so what her color was putrid, she sure got me through some rough times.....but she started to cost so much more than she was worth....
I miss you baby...

Yeah, I went from a Black RS (wrapped around a tree) to a Green (yuck) GS-T, was looking for a GSX (not heavily modded yet) but had no luck there.

I think it was a perfect design for the eyes, and a great engine, but the suspension and tranny needed upgrading badly in stock form. But it was turboed and responded to mods so well....and I learned a lot from that car as far as upgrade paths and whatnot so when I decide to start training my Evo it should be relatively painless, being a 4G63 and all.

Nice. I really wanted to get a GSX but it costs way lotta money. But it's a sweet car. My brother has a GS. And the engine in completly built, and it should be complete real soon. In my opinion he's crazy to mess with a 420a instead of doing the same mods on a 4G63 but it's his money. There's nothing that I can do about it, I could slap some sense into him, but it too late. Right now we're looking for another chassis, since the body needs paint and comestic work. If you know anyone selling a gs. Give me a shout.

Actually thos 420a's can take a good deal of punishment, I think Hahnracecraft had a pretty strong turbokit for those

ya, the Evo really is an amazing platform. My last car was a RSX-S, I dont think I have to tell you what a big jump it was to the Evo. With this car I seriously dont even bother with the majority of the cars out there.

I agree with you Ryan. I could never see myself in a honda again unless it was a daily driver. They are great cars..............but BORING! N/A FWD<Turbo AWD, FTW!!!

lol very true. I find it amusing that I wont even waste my gas with an RSX anymore.... the car I used to drive! I remember staring in amazement when I used to see an Evo lol. I honestly dont think there are many better cars then any Turbo AWD, seriously... it doesnt get any better. BTW, I am running a pretty sweet setup, IMO, running a VTA bov with no stalling/bogging issues. It is possible for you to run a VTA bov without issues, you just have to know how to do it. With that in mind, it is expensive to do it in a way that allows you to run it safely, no drivability issues.

Well I have to admit my car sounds so much better than stock with just the hks intake. I rode in Dave's car(all stock) the other day and it is so quiet. I think my car sounds great without being too annoying. I just want the IX bov, mbc and flash/tune-then I'm set.

HEY!!! Whats wrong with me?! The old car looks good though. Im a fan of green cars. All my other cars besides the Evo has been green. I was also looking at a GSX and turning it into a DD for the Reno winters. And Brett... Ive got everything you listed and told myself that once i got tuned that would be it, but after driving Charles and Ryan's car with cams... I was addicted, so after cams... Im done... Or so i say now...

The SSQ HKS BOV in my eclipse was vented and had no problems (although fuel efficiency was affected for obvious reasons).
I'm fighting the urge to start doing things to my evo right now, plus my ex stole my Apex-1 Boost Controller when we broke up. I held onto it and was supposed to pout it in my eclipse, but decided to stick it in the evo...oh well...

just be careful where you bring your evo to...

btldground, even if all the shops in the world somehow went out of business, i wouldnt go there. there are other shops around, im not citing any names, but there are only a few you can trust!

very true, especially with our cars you have to be very careful

Yea. The only shop that no one seems to have any major gripes about is Dyno4mance and Ed had a minor run in with Lethal Injection, but they do good work.
