Big Ups to Alex, aka HOPE666. I flew into town yesterday, I am back in Houston today, and put my car in the VERY capable hands of Alex. Within a few hours , he had my car outfitted with an alarm, remote start, and turbo timer. All done for a very reasonable price and professional to boot.
Alex took the time to explain the workings off it, and plugged some other services. :D;).
I highly recommend HOPE666/Alex for all your audio/security/interior needs. I will be seeing him again after my next stages of power!

A+++++++++++

I have always been scared of remote start on manual trannys.

I am not worried, as I always pull the e-brake and leave it in neutral. So no big deal. I just have to remember to tell the techs , if my car is in for service. Most likely I will just not use it if it does go in.

I love it. I had this real country-looking dude starring at the car today when I stopped for gas. Right as he steps forward to take a closer look i start it. The look on his face was great. He did one off those "dog" half cocked head manuavers. it was great!

Give me exact model number that you have, then I can tell you what is it and what we can do about that. You will need immobilizer bypass, so you will loose one of your keys.
You can find model number always at brain box of alarm, sometimes on remote too. Depends on brand.

I don't have the exact nmber with me now. But the FCC ID is ... Elvatrbb

And part number is... 5bcr05

It says prestige on the remote.

Joey, if you really want to go this route I can simply disable the immobilizer in the ECU so you don't have to worry about bypassing it.

I have to take a look at it. And we can figure out what needs to be done to have your remote start working.
