Just got my set in today! Really looking forward to these. They're supposed to be better than the OEM Brembo pad's with better initial bite and less fade. To be honest I was quite impressed with my Axxis Ultimates. On the last mtn. run I did with ya'll before I moved to Reno I had no brake fade where most seemed to have significant fade to the point where we had to pull over.

I don't expect these to be as good, but the noise and brake dust caused by the Axxis pads was almost unbearable. I'm a detailer and I think I've got some permanent dust built up on my wheels as I haven't been able to get it off no matter what product I use.

The Magic Pads are supposed to be very quiet and they come with Girodisc's special non squeal shims already attached. I think Evolved or Black have these pads and please chime in for any input you want to give. I'm hoping I can get these installed tomorrow and give some initial impressions. These pads were too cheap to not try though (150 for a whole set shipped) and the reviews were great.

I'm curious to see how these work out. I was thinking of getting some, but decided to go with Ferrodo DS2500s cause I was going to be tracking the car also. I'n the future I'll be getting dedicated track pads cause I've realized there is no 1 pad for everything. By the way I had the same brake dust issue on a car & used a light Scotch Brite pad to get the build up off & then polished the wheel after I was done. It's a pain in the a$$ to do on a multi-spoke wheel like the BBS, but worth it. Keep in mind some wheels don't have much of a clear coat to work with. I see this more with the hyper silver style of wheel. I've also run across wheels that seem to have never been cleaned & there was no way to get the build up off without damaging the paint so it all depends on how bad they are.

Yeah I have them, and they are quiet. well, once you bed them in. At first when coming to a stop once at 5mph they would squell alittle. I had since beded them in, occasionally they make a noise but its quick and not too annoying. The feel of them is better then OEM, and before I painted my stocker, i didnt notice any obscene brake dust. I look forward to changing out my fluid and see how these feel. I give them a thumbs up

Thanks for the feedback. I'm currently running ATE blue fluid, but I don't have SS lines or anything like that.

The Ferodo's were just too expensive for me at this time. Just got the pads installed today and so far they're much quieter with good initial bite. Will update when I have more time with them.

I was gonna say I loved my Axxis pads I had on before, but like I said they squeaked too much and it was loud!
