But I do this for a living. I am the professional. Just not very familiar with Mitsubishi's. I am not worried. Just curious if anyone had any links to good write ups. Thanks

oh well just download the manual from evom and you should be good since most timing belts are same...
you would just need basic info on it which the manula has.

I watched a buddy of mine do this a couple weeks ago, it took him only 3 hours. This was with beer breaks and smoke breaks and BS'ing with the guys. I was impressed. He did it by taking it out of the passenger wheel well......

when i got mine out at 60k the belt looked almost identical vs the new one. no cracks no missing tooth or nothing.

The reason for replacement is that the metal tone ring thingy for the crank postion sensor was bent. It hits the back of the belt and makes an annoying noise! To replace this the belt has to come out. So I am just going to replace the belt while I am in there. FYI the water pump was replaced under warrenty so I dont need to do that either. Just the belts.

I have quite a while before I need to change mine out. When is a good mileage for Evos? 90k?
