Hey guys, my brother just told me he was talking to one of the companies he does work for and this guy Steve Mason owns Mase Engineering. Anyways, he says he can get me a hook up, lol. I am always down for that with my broke ass Army budget, LOL. Anyone ever heard or talked to anyone tuned by him? I looked at his site and he does "tours," and in house tuning at his shop in Jacksonville. Supposedly he get the right numbers and tunes to your needs/wants. Lemme know.....

never heard of him before. Just be careful when dealing with people like that. Tuning is a very important part that can make or break your car =/

This guy goes worldwide tuning, people reserve and fly him out to where they are, kinda crazy. Just wondered if anyone hear of him.....

I've heard A LOT of great things of him.
I remember seeing a s2000 kit he did... super frickn' nice!

He used to be a really big tuner in the Honda world. I know that when Evo's came to the US, he began tuning them as well. I have heard of several customers' Evos being shipped over here just to be tuned by him. He really seems to know a lot about tuning.

On his site there is a 670hp pump gas Evo 8. Ofcourse it's built but regardless it was on pump gas.....

Are you sure thats accurate? I was under the impression the pump gas record was 622, built or not.

He's been around the honda scene for quite some time. I remember back in 2002ish when his turbo integ got stolen and crashed. When i started learning how to tune an aem ems in 2002, he helped out big time. He helped me a lot with the timing tables. I think that is when his tuning business started. He started tuning peoples cars and people liked the tune. Next thing you know he's a pretty big tuner now.

still very impressive, but sounds more realistic :) Thats good power for pump, I think I may make more when my final tune is done though :o

Well hurry up and get that bish done! I've heard of Mase Engineering before, but haven't heard too much about them. Seems, from what everyones saying, he does a good tuning job.

Its going through some changes right now. Almost done :) Hopefully will be retuned and finished at the end of next week, but still not sure.

Im looking for my GG IX MR... when I find one w/ a good price I will pick it up :D until then, 300horse fwd is fine :D

Ya, I melted #3 piston, injector had an issue, wires touched for a second and caused the injector to pulse mid pull, leaned out and melted, Blew up wed night, was driving it again on friday :D ... I just thought it was bc of the age etc, but it was a stupid lil bs problem...

lol, it does the job, check the pix on myspace w/ the volks if you havent already... the newer turbo made much better power :D... T3 hifi 60, ball bearing, stg 6 internals (biggest wheels to fit in the housing)...

Impressive! It'll make a killer DD if you keep it after you get the Evo.
