Long story short...pep boys broke my wheel lock key. It's the stock one for an 04 Evo. I'm putting my clutch and fly wheel in this saturday and I need to remove the locks. Is it possible for someone to meet me somewhere near Dobbins Air Force Base. I'll be going to a "going away" lunch at the Marietta Diner tomorrow if that's a good place to meet. Any help would definately be appreciated.
Thanks,
TJ

if you have a air chisel you can dent the lock and spin the lock with air hammer.
it will destroy the lock but atleast you'll be able to get it off...

Or you can just go to mitsu and either buy another one or see if their express lube guys can help you out. The locks aren't that varied and they may only make like 2-3 different patterns.

I'm going to try pep boys first and see if they will do it for free since they broke it.
thanks

The guy that broke it was pretty cool about taking the locks off for free. All you need is a bolt extractor found here:

Thanks for the replies.

Pep boys = buy 3 get one free on tires.
The key was already almost stripped out.
I didn't feel like paying big money for tires that will only last a year and a half.

I've had bad experiences with Pep Boys, and I will never take a car there for service again.

Does pep boys even sell a decent high performance tire or high performance all season tire?

I bought the Hankook Ventus V4 ES for $109 each. So, I bought 3 for $327 and got one free. Of course, I would love to have gotten the tires that came stock but I didn't feel like forking over $270 - 300 per tire since this is my DD and I commute 50 miles a day. Also, I just installed and ACT hdss / flywheel combo this past weekend. My Evo's savings account and my hands hurt right now.
