I wonder how well it works. It seems like a good idea. Even if it is a knock-off, a brace is a brace to a certain extent.

This is the response I got when I asked Robi about the braces

"How helpful are the underarm braces and fender braces?"

Robi
"Its weight..."

So what I took from that is its better to drop the weight than it is to have them. Allthough Im sure a few of them may serve a purpose, at the end of the day you might aswell save your cash and get a cage.

^^^Agreed. You can pick up an autopower cage for close to 400 I believe.

Well shit robi told me to get the fender brace. Wtf?

Oh by the way rayan were you able to get the pricings on them rims I asked you about?

Or got any evo fitting rims for sale?
17 x 9 or wider
Prefer concave lookin rims.
3 to 400 dollar range...

The brace is not a knockoff. I called the company and the company is actually Tanabe USA's one of the distributors.

The lowest I could find for the nto3m was 867 shipped and 940 for hyper black color. 17 x 9.5 both colors.

You can also do foam injection. Instead doing rollcage. Just to stiffen the body of course. Rollcage will do more for protection, but if you want just stiffness foam will do the job. I will do that on my car but lately... no time to work on my own car, what a shame... I have JDM movie where they show it done on R34.

got these installed and i love them the car is stiffer and turn in is better.

had to drill for 2 holes but other than that it went in good.

and its the real deal. the distribution company is Tanabe usa. and its authentic

so dont pay $200 more from lancershop or other vendors who try to make $200 off you.

Yeah, Nagisa Auto is not Ebay. They actually make decent parts.

they make Nagisa parts, as all JDM parts they hand made, they used to do dev for Tanabe,
same as Tanabe very good stuff for affordable price, these parts as all tuning parts in Japan are not too expensive, only US vendors mark them up as hell

No problem. It will be hand made too, just like JDM pieces.

Standard rule of production. The quality and quantity curve. one has to give a little in a time based process. This applies to companies without robot welders such as Nagisa Auto.

If the bolts are seized inside the metal sleeve and you have to cut. Do you go to the dealer to get new bolts or is some thing from the hardware store good enough?

This thread is almost a year old... As long as you get the same thread pitch and size you should be fine. I would recommend getting them from the dealer, but that gets expensive.
