I have mad respect for the owner of this place, it's just him and 1 of his tech at his shop and didn't hesitate a bit to hold something of this size. Plus he is forking out money out of his pocket to satisfy us when he's not making much to begin with. We'll need some people to help around from 9-6 preferably, but def from 12-6. I'll need people helping out on the grill, with parking, and then just keep an eye what's going around. Be committed if you are gonna volunteer.

x2 we wanna be fair with everyone. As long as friend is willing to pay for you via paypal, that will give you a queue number, and we'll have nothing to worry about. Highly recommend paying up front because we might have to cap of number of cars.

yeah my car might not be up and running to its full potential as well... because when we were tuning it... it has a big boost leak.... and we didn't get a chance to finish it... so since i'm jobless :-P won't have funds to look for the boost leak and the check engine light code it thru.... so i'll just dyno it but it might be at like 16psi :-P doing 220 to the wheels...

Something is definitely up with the car ... it threw a P0505 for the ISCV. That paired with the odd load readings makes me think there is a vacuum line issue on the TB/mani. A boost leak test should help with a diagnosis. I think the knock filter mismatch was the big issue. We'll get it sorted ... no worries. the stepper/TB might just need a good cleaning.

It was decent. The shop is definitely not geared towards evo's.
Think it would have been great at either Forged or TopSpeed.

#'s are debatable.

I didn't get to dyno the X. They wanted me to remove the front undertray and thats not an easy task in a parking lot. I made a thread on evom.net to check whether its necessary to remove the undertray to strap the x to the dyno. I believe it would have been covered if that was the case. I would have seen something about this by now... can't find anything doing a search on it.

It actually read lower than the Dynamics. It was colder outside too. I put down 264 on Forged's DD and put down 261 on the L&S dyno at Orton. I believe it was a 20degree temp difference outside aswell, if not more.

Never verified. Its very possible it has been tuned in the past. In that thread I posted, go back to the 1st page, I listed the dyno graphs. Our printout readings are a bit funny though, it always seems to show this spike on the dyno that is not really there.

To an extent I may be. Sharif recently tuned a IX MR here just the same as mine stock and it put down 289whp. If mine had a full current tune even with the stock setup it would put around the same. There is still something up with it though, it doesnt feel the same as any other tuned MR that I have driven, boost comes on earlier and harder, but yet Im not pushing more than factory boost.

Also have to consider that the dyno charts read differently, yes I know its only the AFR not the numbers we are looking at but for some reason our dyno printouts dont always read exactly what they do in the computer. Sharif said my afr in the computer was around 10.6 to 11 most of the pull, even though it reads higher than that on the chart. :( We also didnt rev to 7750, it was only to 7300...

Disclaimer:
-All Dynoing are required to sign a shop waiver. Car should be dyno ready check oil, vacuum lines, fuel pressure, under body hooks should be visible, under body plastic covering hooks or sub frame must be removed, etc. Car will be removed from the dyno if doesn't seem safe to run.

They did awesome for their first dyno and strapping down cars they never strapped down, and still at the end of the day came out good. Try holding a or standing next to a car/SUV swerving left and right doing a full woot pull in 3rd gear.......to me that's hell of a customer service, and reason i'll take my car there again.



It was good seeing and meeting everyone. Event turned out great. There are 6 more strapping points going in this week so swerving won't be a issue next time.

So Ryan you were tuned. That's what I said before. There is no way stock Evo will do 260whp on DD dyno. I have to finish my car finally. Almost done, only thing left are these ARP head studs.
I am just curious what car can do at 24psi, with best mivec map and tuning.
One car at dyno day with same parts like my car was making 345whp at 22psi.
We'll see what mine will do. There is nothing more I can possibly do without building engine or changing turbos. So I am just curious what's the highest power EVO for now with stock turbo and no meth etc.
Anybody knows?
