Okay, after a long search over youtube and Nasioc for an exhaust, I finally made up my mind last week and ordered the invidia V2 catless downpipe and the Invidia G200 catback and some cusco hangers. Thanks to Sakari Motorsports, I really got a great deal on it. Check them out they also sell parts for evo too.

I knew that I couldn't go wrong with Invidia. What an awesome exhaust. I can feel now that the car really goes. Before there's was some boost lag because of the stock downpipe, in which I'll post pic later how restrictive it was. It flows way better now. Ed has driven it stock and after the exhaust installed and he also felt the difference.

Once again I would like to thank Ed for helping me out from start to finish and Walter from actually showing up at my house to watch us suffer from under the car. LOL

Here it goes. There will be 2 clips at the end. Enjoy.

Now the Invidia v2. This is the bellmouth one. It starts with 4 inches.

Cobb access port v.2 or suspension work. ( springs, sway bars, anti-lift kit etc ).

go suspension first. i dont think you would need any kind of ecu changes until you change more in your car, such as intake, bov, ichp, tmic...

the tune should open u up alittle more, i vote tune,

ECUflash does subies now, don't know about 06's tough,
cobb is a piggyback, ECUflash is actually the ECU your adjusting, just one of the differences, don't know much about Cobb.

u could adjust your boost to about 20psi(with a tune or MBC), thats about all the stock turbo on STI's can do,

i think only moving to a FMIC will get u any gains and thats after u do everything else, top mounts are hard to deal with, upgraded IC's really show after turbo swaps.

friend of mine has 02' WRX running 19psi and hasn't needed to upgrade BOV, don't know how much boost Subies BOV can handle

can't do cams, don't need fuel system upgrade, SUbies are harder to mod then EVO's, lol

of course i'm more into gaining power, lol our cars handle pretty good off the bat,

Actually SOG provides ECUflash for the 06 for about 850 I think. As for the BOV, sure the aftermarket one noise is sweet but i dont want to change it unless it really needs it.
The AP requires the downpipe to run stage 2, I hear that you could gain up to 30-40 hp with it, plus i'm running catless that freed up some hp.
Stock intake is good until 400hp from what I now. I have many plans for it I dont have the capital to do it. haha So I'll go slow. My bro is the one lending me the money to do some mods for now, since i'm a poor bastard.
For now the exhaust will do. Sounds bad ass. :D

Thanks for all the feedback!

u can go to openecu.org and download ECUflash for free and the cable is about $65 for Subies its $95 for evo's:( u still have to get someone to tune it though, i think topspeed does SUbie tuning,

Thanks for the info. i know topspeed does it. But I have heard not so good things from them. ( you know who ) I might try them out. But on wrxatlanta they say there's this guy name Scott Siegel that works over SOG that is really good tuner, I think the previous owner of Ed's car took the evo there for tunning or dyno I'm not sure. But yeah, it does cost a lot of money, But i rather have the subaru tech work on my car and not void warranty than a shop that does the work for cheaper.

I think I saw some of your posts and you mentioned about you tunning your car. You seem to have way better understanding from these things than I do. Maybe you can give me a hand making a right decision on ecu tunning. EVO Help FTW!

Cheers for a thread actually not getting off topic!

Yeah... responsibility and an investment, something to call your own, pride, independence and being an adult are SO overrated. ;)

alg626

yeah i have all that, and have had it now for awhile, things to have of your own and independence is fine but pride is something i don't worry about, pride isn't something u shouldn't have involved in material things , i do have pride just not into material things, doesn't mean u shouldn't take care of your things and keep them well matienced but material things fade away over time, car is a car and a house is a house not saying that it isn't nice to have materials either though

i let my friends drive my Evo and stay at my house, as long there not trashing them then it doesn't bother me and if they respect my stuff,
pride is the fall of a man not knowing when to back down, or going to far with whatever situation, sorry guys i don't know how i got off on that, lol
and this isn't any kind of attack on anyone just my reasoning, lol

and to stay on topic nice pics of the exhaust Jr.
