The lip looks really good! My favorite color on the MR is white.

Looks good (very clean), but the paint doesn't look as reflective/wet as I like whites to be. I'd use a good glaze followed by a carnuba wax to make it look wet. What was your process on it (products/tools used)? Not being mean in any sense just trying to offer some constructive criticisms.

Thanks for the comments, no offense taken. I actually took it to Victory Lane car wash and had it hand washed like I always do. I just get the basic wash, nothing specail. As for wax, I guess I could wax it. I have a clay bar, but to be honest with you, all she does is sit in the Garage, I hardly drive her. Just every other weekend or so to get the fluids moving and whipe the dust off the spoiler LOL

Tripp, I just had a chance to look at your detailing and car show pics. I see there are a lot of nice cars out west. I'm sure you're very busy keeping them clean;)

Even if it just sits I highly recommend a wax for protection from all that dust. Also regardless of whether you drive it that much, use the clay bar too. I've detailed almost brand new cars (that 335i only had 2k miles on it) and I got a bunch of sh!t out of the paint with a clay bar.

Hey man, check evolutionm.net. Rexpeed is doing a group buy on those splats. I am not sure of the price, since i already have some but maybe you could save some money.

Hey Tripp we need some serious heart n soul put into our rides here man! Most places are so caught of with high volume that they simply don't put that pride and effort in.

lol I'll be happy to do some detailing when I get into town (unfortunately probably gonna be around xmas time). I personally don't understand why shops charge 250 dollars for a detail that mainly uses fillers and the swirls/scratches will be back after the 1st time you wash it. People think 20 an hour is expensive, but when you think it takes me about 7-8 hours (for an Evo depending on its condition) and I'll get it perfect or next to perfect your really getting a better deal. I really wish I had some "befores" of that Audi. It looked like someone had wetsanded the whole damn car... the black car almost looked white the way the light was distorted in the paint.
