Nice!!! I wish I didn't have such a bad 1st experience in Jamaica as I'd love to take my GF there and go indulge in the Jamaican car culture. Also the scuba diving there is AMAZING!!!

lol Not at all. It was years ago. I was just on a cruise with my Mom and her BF. We had finished scuba diving and we were walking through an open area that had multiple alleys with little flea markets (best way for me to describe it) off of it. I had gotten a bit ahead of my Mom and her BF and I heard a guy saying "You come here, You come here." I didn't know he was talking to me. I turned around to look for my Mom and heard the same guy saying "What!? I'm not good enough for you!?" and started chasing me! I was 12 years old! I sprinted my little fat ass into the KFC we were heading too and waited there with others from my cruise until my Mom and her BF got there.

Lol Trip! On a serious note, I'm really sorry that you had such a messed up experience. My wife and I have been ceritifed for years and used to do a lot of diving in Port Antonio as well as out of Hedonism III in Runaway Bay(see http://www.superclubs.com/hedonismIII, ...that was wicked! Diving with the topless penthous pets, sexy daytime and nightime games etc. Talk about wild times. We should plan a trip in the future , some diving, a race weekend, and of course a party weekend all rolled in one.
What you experienced was typical of stepping off the beaten path; Italy is the same, and not to mention Miami .
Don't worry, my wife and I will be your tour guides LOL.

lol Thanks for your concern. I'm much larger now and would not be so afraid of something like that now lol. I know it's pretty much like that anywhere you go though.
I haven't been diving in years (last time was Aussie when I was 14 and I'm 22 now) and need to get my equipment checked out before I go again. My GF is not certified and I'm trying to talk her into it. Shes afraid of sharks and pretty much all sea life with the exception of dolphins lol.
I think we were in Kingston and went diving by some large resort there in Kingston (maybe you know what its called).

Its going really good! I'm currently working on building up, what they call, the control muscles, so I can start doing the really cool tricks and holds. I can already do a move, forgot the name, where I tuck my left or right elbow into my side and lift my legs up and hold it there at an angle with out using any other part of my body to hold myself up other than my arms. I'm a fairly big guy for my size (185lbs and 5' 10) and its a big feat for me lol. Theres a video up of me and Sam (my GF) at a benefit for Engineers Without Boarders on the website. Go to http://www.tahoecapoeira.com/v/videos/UNR_Demo_Part_2.html and check it out. We are right at the beginning. We also have only had 2 classes at the time. I'm in the grey shirt and jeans and my GF is the one who's kicking my ass :D.
Diving is extremely fun! The main reason for me stopping is because when I was coming up, even from a fairly shallow dive (30-50 feet, deepest I went was 120ft in the Grand Caymans chasing a turtle lol) and with proper equilibrium time I would feel myself start to black out and would really have to pay attention when coming up, so I wouldn't. I also got some bad noise bleeds when surfacing. I still need to go see a doctor about it and theres no reason I can think of for this to happen. Some of the cheapest diving I've ever done was in Australia. You could get the guide, boat, gear, basically everything to go out on the reef for 40 USD. It included 3 dives.

First off, the Evo X doing donuts is awesome! I wish I had an extra tranny just laying around so I wouldn't feel so bad about doing that to my car.
I have never been diving, but it has always interested me. I love the water. Maybe one day I will be able to try it.
Also Tripp, I can't wait to see another video of you when you get some more classes under your belt. It looks like so much fun!
