Only other company in the US next to AMS to have broken the 1000HP barrier. Seriously thinking of getting some upgrades from them after hearing the prices and references from tuners and racers.

Ive got their 3.5in IC and I'm probably going with their 3.5in turboback unless I can find a good deal on a nice sounding JDM exhaust.

Nice! Looking at the same setup. Friend's Evo VII has the 4"IC and he didn't have to trim the bumper. Like the Exhaust but love the sound of the magnaflow pan's note. Gonna see if they can do a custom for me .

Hey Trip, do U know anything about the JDM exhaust that Tein USA is the dealer for?

ETS is a respectable company. I've taken a peek at their budget turbo kits, but I doubt I'd ever get one. I currently have their LICP and plan to upgrade to their 3.5" FMIC and UICP. Quality stuff.

I checked their site and if your talking about Fujitsubo than its the SHIT!!!! I love their RM-01A exhaust, but its just a bit to pricey for me. Sounds absolutely amazing though and the build quality is 2nd to none.

I'm not here to argue but your info is incorrect. Buschur, Turbotrix, and I believe CFT each have a car over 1000hp. Turbotrix's car runs 8.7 and Buschur's car runs 8.6 and AMS runs 8.5 in the 1/4. I haven't heard anything about the CFT setup other than it "was" on nitrous previously. I believe there is another shop but I can't remember the name.

Buschur has never taken his car to another dyno other than his own low reading dyno in which it makes 890whp I believe. That car on a dynojet is over 1000whp.

The Turbotrix car must be making over 1000whp also to run 8.7's or damn near close to it depending on the dyno.

The power a car makes on the dyno means absolutely nothing as the dyno is merely a tuning tool from point A to B. The trap speeds are a good indication as to the power a car is making.

...but yeah, ETS looks like they make some very good stuff. Horsepower isn't everything though. Getting the power to the ground is. ;)

I didnt know Buschur had broken 1000hp. Other than that I think he's refering to Paul Nelsons car (ifarted2). His car is the most powerful evo in the world (over 1100hp) and I think hes shooting for low 8's. I believe he's already his 8.49.

Actually, AMS just redynoed their car and made something like 1130 or 1170whp. Paul Nelson is over 1100whp also. Should be a crazy year for the records.

Al from Dynoflash is up there also. So many Evo's over 1000whp this year going for the record.

I'm going to run this new setup and see how I like it, then throw the 42R or 45R with nitrous on there and go for the big numbers too.

Thanks for the info! I hear you about HP not being everything but getting it to the ground is..tru dat! Personally i'm only interested in companies that make builds that last and run their cars several times per year. The build that I'm looking to do is daily driven and can cross over to auto-x or a fun hill run. Quick spool up , nothing over 360whp(for now), and easy maintainance...I'm sure we all know some peeps who spend waaay too much time at the shops fixing and re-tuning.

The Evo VII is by far my favorite body for the Evolution. I wish we got the VII. Very nice car!

Yes, I do get tired of seeing so many VIII and IX body styles, but that's pretty much all we have here in the US. I'm a big fan of the V and VI myself. If I ever moved out of the country, I'd definitely import one of the older JDM Evos.

I love VII's and they are easily done with the VIII's and IX's. Just change out the front bumper and hood.

My favorite is the VI TME. I would have sex with a TME if I could own one.

Nice! My favorite color too! Although I'd love to have one in Silver just to be a bit different.
