EVO X test drive

Had my two navy friends stay over last weekend . He bought a blue X . We swapped cars on a couple occasions and what a difference between my IX MR and his X. The X was flat out more stable , refined, spacious but could use a short throw shifter. Good acceleration but the IX seemed quicker and more aggressive.
May consider a X especially since he talked the dealer down to like 26K LOL obscene!
Still love my IX but wouldn't rule out the X with some mods.

Well the X have been responding well to mods. I think what steers most people away is the absurd markup. I saw one for sale for $39K. That's simply too much, but $26K is okay. :p

26k is an amazing price! Where did he get it? Also being able to run 11's with the stock turbo and bolt ons is an amazing feat!

Ed Voyles is selling theirs for invoice so there is no need in paying for a markup, especially in our area of the country.

Although I won't part with my VIII, I would love to test drive on and just see the difference.

I believe his dealer was in S. Carolina . It was the 1st one they sold and they had a few.
