Paint question?

Does bird crap ruin your paint after it is cooked into it all day in the sun? Birds suck.

I bet Tripp could answer. I would think that their crap has some acidic nature, so anything is possible............. or should I say S**t happens :D

I had a bird spot on my hood when I first got the car. Didn't clean it off immediately and it left a stain that, to this day I haven't been able to get out. :(

Yes it will etch into the paint. Clay baring with an aggressive clay will sometimes get it out, but it normally requires wetsanding and polishing. A good way to prevent this is to keep a good coat of wax on your car.
