Earthquakes...

Thats right... I felt 2 day. They were my first. Their centers were only 15km away from Reno and the 1st one was a 3.8 the 2nd a 4.1. If you've never felt one I can only say that its the freakiest thing i've felt in a long time (and I have a freaky GF :D)...

Actually the first one I was on the 2nd floor of the building and heard someones laptop hit the floor. Than I felt the earth shake. The 2nd one I was on the bottom floor of the same building sitting down in my class and it feels like a combination of REALLY bad turbulence and, you know those things on playgrounds that kids ride that are like a ladybug on a big spring that you can go back and forth on, like that, but the whole earth doing that motion... Yea... Something like that... And that was just a 4.1 max...

Well we just had a 4.9 with the epicenter not but 7 miles from my apartment... Thats some scary shit when you can feel the walls of your apartment moving...

I read on a news site that a LARGE (7.0 or larger) earthquake will be hitting the Bay Area and they're calling it the Katrina of SF. Thats over 300 miles away and separated by 5000ft of mtns, but we'll feel that. The thing thats got me worried is these last few earthquakes were actually here in NV. Not Cali.

From the way they make it sound, Cali will be breaking off the continent soon.

Thats the thing its only Northern California, not southern, that is expecting the big quake. Regardless they are predicting that a big quake will be hitting Reno directly soon. This is just a prediction that I hope won't come true. Just pray that it doesn't as I don't want me or any other of the good people out here to have to go through that.
