Well my day just got worse

I was stopped at an intersection minding my own business. Just as I'm about to pull off...BAM!!!! Some old guy rear ended me:mad:. My neck is really sore. My son was also with me, although he seems fine. The guy got out and said, "Hey, it don't look like there's any damage. I guess you're fine". I told him of course there is damage. Well he did decide to wait for the police. It occured in a mall parking lot so it was on private property. However, he is liable for the damages. This sucks. It doesn't look too bad, but it will cost to get it fixed. The body panels in the rear are shifted, and there is some dents and rippling through the rear left quarter panel. The hit was very hard. I am really thinking about getting my neck checked out. On to the pics...

Glad to hear you and your son are ok. If you need a good bodyshop we have one but I know it's a hike for you but we can make it look new again if the old man's insurance pays!! And don't let his insurance tell YOU where you're going to take the car!! They can't do that in Ga!!

If it were practical for me, I'd definitely prefer for a Mitsu dealership to do the work. There aren't any dealers around here though. I will make sure to take it to the best shop in Athens. I have an appt to get it looked at by an Allstate rep on Wed.

The rear bumper with the rear foglight? I think it fits, but I believe you still have to trim the bumper support just like the JDM one.

Yea the UK rear bumper has a rear mounted fog light or courtesy light or something like that. Its actually a separate light with a separate switch to turn it on and off.

I personally have a badgeless trunk. I think it looks so clean w/o. What I really hate is when a dealership puts their tag on it.

I agree, the dealer stickers are horrible. I bought mine used and that dealer put his sticker on the trunk. I came home and took that crap right off. I am seriously thinking about going badgeless now.

Well I got mine off ebay for 120. Like I said it does have a few scratches but no clouding ( I honestly thinking a good detailer could get them out as there is no gouging). I did not mind the blemishes because they can be fixed when I get the car's other paint problems fixed. I figured it was better than no spoiler. I did that for over a year, and just "needed" a spoiler again.

Well it looks like my car will be finished on Monday. I really hoped to have the extra cash to fix a couple of other dents while it was in the shop, but I will have to do that later. I am just glad to have my car back. I have been driving around in a rental car(Chevy Cobalt) all week. That car sucks. I sure miss boost.
