I just got my wing warrantied recently for peeling. Now the Brembos are really peeling bad. It is so aggravating. I'm thinking I may wait and spray them a different color with high temp caliper paint this summer if they aren't warrantied as well.

my spoiler is in perfect condition, my brembos on the other hand... they have dry spots where there are no clear left. Its ok though, I just have to wait until Fall. Im gonna get a BBK then. Deciding between either Brembo GT or Alcon. Either way it will be a 6/4 setup.

With a setup like that, you'll be able to stop on a dime and get 8 cents change, lol!!

My spoiler has gotten worse since i've been out here. I plan on getting it re-cleared soon. As for the calipers I might just paint them blue. Not sure though.

So far (knock on wood) I have not seen any discolorations or peeling from the wing or brake calibers.
On a side note, does anybody know of a mod-friendly dealership that I can take my car to in order to have my right rear door lock looked at? It won't lock/unlock with the power lock switch or the key fob and I don't feel like having my warranty voided for having some aftermarket parts on.

I'm not sure on that. I took my car in for the wing warranty at Rick Case in Duluth and they told my that my powertrain warranty is voided.

Did they tell you why it was voided?

All they said was it was voided by the previous owner.

Ed Voyles is supposed to be more mod-friendly now. I have a friend who details for them and he passes on news from them to me. Try them. Also they should fix your door lock regardless of mods because your door lock has nothing to do with your engine. If they try to pull that crap find a copy of the law about warranty and mods. It basically says that the only thing they can deny if the car is under warranty and modded is the modded part itself. So if you blow your engine and all you have is an exhaust than they would have to warranty it because the exhaust isn't technically a part of the engine.

I'm familiar with the Magnuson-Moss Act. I'm not saying they wouldn't fix my door lock because of my mods. What I'm concerned about is they will void my powertrain warranty when they see my mods when I take the car in to have my door lock looked at.
Using your analogy they could technically void your powertrain warranty for an aftermarket exhaust if it increases the power which in turn increases the wear on your powertrain. I'm not saying it's right, but I could see them using that train of thought.

Magnuson-Moss act. I forgot what it was called. They shouldn't void your warranty for your aftermarket stuff. If they are just doing the window lock they have no reason to pop your hood and take a look under there. They shouldn't have to for the window lock. Also like I said they seem to be better about mods than they once were. You can always call and check too. Just don't give your name ;) lol

Thanks for the suggestion. If I can't troubleshoot it myself then I will take it to them but of course I will call them first. ;)
