to tune your car and who did the tune? I am curious as to what people are running. I am using ECUflash and was tuned by Andrew at Dyno4mance.

I am also using ECUflash. Chris Mellon originally tuned my car and then I had TTP retune it after I added the Walbro and LICP. I definitely prefer Chris over TTP just because of his customer service. TTP comes across as arrogant. I'm trying to learn how to do it myself so I don't have to keep shelling out so much money to have somebody tweak a few numbers in the ECU. Why pay somebody to do something that you can do yourself with a little bit of knowledge?

I definitely understand that. If I had the time and resources, I'd love to learn to tune mine myself. I have heard that Mellon has really good customer service. I didn't know that TTP was hard to work with. I ordered my Megan dp from their site so I never had to deal with them. Are you happy with your tune now?

I am satisfied with my tune, but a tune isn't complete until it has been checked with a wideband. That's why I bought the LC-1. I'm also interested in tephra's ECU modifications. I also wanted my wideband before I put those on my ECU just for a safety standpoint.

Dyno4mance did mine too. I was originally done by Jestr and made great numbers for my limited mods (272 on a DynoDynamics on an 03' with just a TBE, intake, MBC and tune). Andrew retuned it for 91 octance, but because of the altitude i'm having a local guy who does wideband/road tunes tune the car when everything here is done.

I use ecuflash on my cars. However, I did have an APv1 on the wife's WRX tuned by SS at Top Speed.

ECUflash does just fine ;) that seems to be the tuning of choice for most guys.
