Friday I will be going wingless for a week. Reason: Mitsu is changing my Wing fo free, cuz the powder coat off the carbon fiber is all fucked up. :D They need my original wing to match the color and they can't let me keep it I wish they could. So Ill be rocking without a wing for a week.

Second is I'm getting my check from the insurance company soon. As some of you may recall, some retarded blonde rear ended me at a redlight. We were completely stopped but she went to grab something and let go of the brake, hit me doing maybe 1mph or 2mph. No damage. So im getting me a new bumper... AND IM ORDERING MYSELF THE JDM BUMPER! YAY! lol

yeah its pretty sad, u can't see the paint from distance u got to get right up on the wing to see it, but still needs to be done and recoated,
i'm taking it to a body shop here they'll do it for $25, thought that was a good price

just make sure they replace it with the full carbon wing instead of the new IX wing. I have been waiting for a wing replacement for a few months since mine is doing the same thing. I told the dealer I wanted what came on the car-don't go cheap on me. They really are trying to give me the runaround.

Also, I can't wait to see that sweet jdm rear on there! You have to post some pics when it gets installed. I would seriously consider getting one if you didn't have to take out the crash beam. My son rides with me a lot.

Unless u gonna strip the paint off the new wing does it really matter, not that big of an weight difference, the middle part is still carbon fiber just the painted pieces won't be,

but yeah i would want all cf cause mine is stripped, so i would want to do it again.

I guess I just prefer the full carbon fiber one. Btw, how did you make yours where you can see all the carbon? Did you just sand it and reclear?

first i used paint stripper on the paint and first coats of primer, then a eletric sander, then when i started getting down to the carbon i hand sanded it, then just put a clearcoat on,
lots of sanding gotta have patience and time, lo

mines not finished yet i still got to get the paint out around the cracks and take it to a shop to have it done professionally, hopefully before the Mtn. run, cause it looks good from a distance but get right up on it, it looks like crap, lol

I like the full carbon look, but i dont think it would look good on silver. Also those that dont want to give up the full carbon spoiler can go to body shop and have it recleared for 40 bucks. Thats what i was quoted.

i think it does look good on silver, yeah forgot about going to the body shop, you just have to pay but at least u don't have to wait or get a 9 spoiler, 45 not bad, i was quoted 25 but i'm not near Atlanta, so things r alittle less due to cost of living, yay
