I eventually want to set my car up to handle well at a track. I really don't plan on going extreme on power. I want the car to remain very streetable, but I still might get cams. I'd like to be around 350whp. I plan on going with a reasonable set of coilovers(any suggestions?). Dylan is going to help me put on my brake kit sometime this month. Money will be kinda tight until I graduate next spring, but I am planning out what I want ahead of time.
Performance mods now:
3" Megan TBE
HKS RS Intake
Autometer cf boost gauge
Hawk HPS front/rear pads(To be installed soon)
Goodridge stainless steel brake lines(To be installed soon)
Motul fluid(To be installed soon)
Tuned by Dyno4mance
:confused:Mods to come:
272 cams
Boost controller
aftermarket bov or IX metal bov
coilovers
performance tires
clutch
Walbro 255 fuel pump
s.s. clutch line
poly shifter bushings
Cusco front lower tie bar
poly motor mounts
Lower intercooler pipe
Well, I'm dreaming big. I want to reach 500whp stock engine. Its possible but I fear that my engine wouldnt last long. I wish I was baller like my brother and just go with a stroker kit and a huge turbo. But whatever... right now i can't afford anything, but dreaming is free. :)

Where should I start....lol. Tell your brother Ill run him when I get my car back :D
Car should put 725-750ish and will be much more streetable than you think. I wont be doing much more modding this year as I think I have already met my expense quota lol. Either wintertime or next year Ill do full suspension, big brakes, and weight reduction. The car should be a freak on the track and just about unbeatable on the street. ;)

I think I'll be happy once I get the stuff I'm getting.
20g
GSC S1 cams
meth
ETS FMIC
Walbro (coming soon)
headstuds
re-tune (one for meth, one for pump)
Tein Flex's with EDFC
Megan Mani
Injectors
Later i'll be doing a engine build for reliability :D
Brett, for a good quality coilover look at the Megans. They are cheap and a lot of people have been running them since they came out with no problems. If you want something better and willing to spend the money go with the KW Variants :D I'm getting the Flex's used from a local guy (same guy I got the trunk from) for really cheap. I'm helping him do the labor and swap over (take them off his car, put them on mine, take my struts off and put them on his), so that'll take the price down too :D

I have heard good things out of the Megan coilovers too. That is a good possibility considering the price. I will most likely be sticking with the stock turbo for now.

Also for the coilovers PM Zeus on EvoM (when you get ready of course) for the best price. His price was 100 bucks cheaper than SpeedElements.

lol Hustler! No offense, but I don't feel comfortable buying used headstuds since they are supposed to stretch when installed.

Meredith, will you eventually do anything to your S2k and move up in classes?

Nope.... right now I have one, if not the best AS S2000s in the country. There is nothing the car needs except for a better driver :p

Well in that case, I don't blame you! How long have you been autocrossing?

3.5 years.... Last year I did 50 days of autoxing... sofar this year I've done seven events already. I'm sure this year I'll surpass 50 days since I don't want to end up second at nationals this year . The car was already been setup (penskes, sway, tire pressures) by the current national AS Champ so no reason to mess with it :).

I never really thought about what my goals are for my car. I read about something that sounds interesting and might want it for my car and purchase it or I get too used to the power and have to add more. I'm sure everybody here can relate to that.
