Very cool! I have been looking into powder coating my wheels but have read it can weakin or "over-age" forged alloy wheels being they have to be heated to cure. Has anyone else heard/read of this?

We have used them several times, pretty good turn out every time. We didn't really had any bad experience with Miller either though.

"CRYO-REM" (R) Racing Component Service. "The REM (R) procedure is not a polishing process but rather a finishing process. The REM procedure involves two steps. The first step, referred to as the "Refinement Process", involves a chemical interaction on the surface of the part. A soft, thin (one micron) film is formed on the surface of the part. The part then interacts with the ceramic media in a special vibratory bowl. During this interaction the film is physically removed from the "peaks" of the processed part and the "valleys" are unaffected. The chemically induced film re-forms only at the peaks that are interacting with the vibratory media, and the process repeats itself"

see http://www.procryo.com/RemGears.html for more info

Never had a bad experience with Miller but this place looks liek they do stuff more in line with car people.

What happened with Miller?

Now there's definitly a difference when I go to miller compared to when "Mr Vanilla" goes there. You may ask to pwdercoat your car and i would want a hub cap done...lol lol

My problem is the turnover time, i understand it may take longer but when i ask for notification on when it gets pushed back pls dont get an attitude and assume i knew this is always gonna happen. They said a week and a half to get my stuff done, so when i do call you tell me they havent even started.

I guess i should have said Apex i ITR sent me.

I used Pro Cryo years back. Great products and great service. I had some issues with the powder coating on my manifold and they repaired it for free and were really nice about it. The issues were not their fault but due to exposure and heat.

I need to get some stuff cryo treated for the Beetle, so I may as well send it over there and get the 10% ... thanks for posting.

Well jumped on a "plane" this morning with Redridingboost and made it up to Cumming to drop off some of my items and pick up his items. I must say the customer service is spectacular. Linda is great and pretty funny. Glad I made it up there. Not to mention the EvoA discount is a big plus. I would HIGHLY recommend you guys go check them out.

Pics soon to come of what was picked up.

Very nice...that looks like a black crackle type finish on the cover and turbo. Is it an equivalent coating to the Swain white exhaust type coating to reduce heat and keep it in the turbo ? Like the ceramic type?

The coating for the vc,br intake and compressor cover mainly aesthatic purposes however powder coating fades and stains a lot less which is another benefit. The EMP dump is ceramic coated.
