Holy sh!t ive been though HELL the past two days!!! My flight was supposed to leave Thursday at 10am. I got to the airport and they said my flight was canceled due to a problem with the plane, but they re-booked me on another flight that left at 6PM and it was straight through (the 1st one went to DC and then Salt Lake City and then Reno) and I would have gotten in earlier.
By the time I got to my gate they canceled my flight for the 2nd time due to the weather here in the south west (If you haven't seen the weather channel we've had over 4 feet of snow in the mtn. and are expecting another 6 feet in the next 2 days), but the F'in weather didn't even start until yesterday!!!
They booked me on my 3rd flight leaving out of Atlanta and going into LA at 7am, so I got on the LA flight no problem and got to LA, but low and behold the weather has really kicked up, so my flight get canceled (flight number 3!). Luckly Alaskan airline had a flight going out and had enough seats for us. So we get to the Alaska gate and the plane could fit us all, but it was a little prop plane and due to the weather they had to have a weight limit and there were 10 people that couldn't get on the plane (me included), but my luggage got to Reno that night.
Now they are transerfering us to a Southwest flight that leaves at 6:20, but by then the storms in full swing and of course is canceled, so i had to shell out 90 bucks (airline wouldn't cover it) to stay in a hotel as my next flight didn't leave until 8:45 today, but I made that flight and got into town a few hours ago... Sorry for the long story and I just needed to vent a bit!
It was great meeting all the WRX/STi guys and I should be back in March and hopefully will see you all again!
