had my car tuned less than a year ago on my current setup and my stock evo 8 turbo. Recently I switched to a 35r setup, ATP3582R to be exact, and I have not touched my tru-boost settings.

If you are familiar with Tru-Boost, your desired boost is not displayed but a numerical option from 1-99. I was tuned for 24 lbs, but with the new setup I only get up to 10 lbs, even at WOT.

I also changed my diverter from an evo 9, to a synapse. So the question is twofold.
Do I need to turn my number up from the original setting on my tru-boost?
Will a 35r always be limited in spool unless I have more supporting modifications?

Here's a beif list of my performance mods:
AMS 2.0 Build
Kelford 272 Cams
AEM Cam Gears
Synapse DV
JIC Turbo Back
Megan 02
Warlboro 255
K&N Intake
ACT Flywheel & Clutch

You need to get tuned on the 35r!!!!!!!!!! Leave the boost were it's at and let a tuner deal with it. And quit wot till u get tuned

^exactly what he said.... A good tuner will set the boost controlled by the ECU aa a baseline with a low duty cycle (1-99)... so if you wanna turn up the boost you set the cycle higher....

If you wanted to risk screwing up your car and turn up the boost without a 35r tune, then you would increase the duty cycle on your truboost from where it is at.

When you changed the turbo you changed the wastegate setup, which is what physically regulates boost. That's why the settings are not the saem for the new turbo.

And yes, get it tuned ... more than just the boost.
