I apologize if this was covered in a previous post, but I'm wondering why Rick Case in Roswell is no longer a Mitsubishi dealership? I asked the service advisors and a salesman, and nobody could give me an answer for some reason. Does anyone know?

i have no idea... but the Duluth one also shut down....as far as it doesn't deal with mitsu's anymore... assuming they don't get enough service labor...never sold enough cars... use to work there... we barely sold 16 cars a month vs Hyundai was doing 100+ per month

Rick Case is not a Mitsubishi dealership now. I think they only do services, but not covered by Mitsubishi America

I just got an email from Rick Case in Roswell saying that they still do service work for Mitsubishi, and gave me coupons for service for this Saturday. I'm due for the 60,000 mile service, but will have to wait until I get the $$ saved up. I think that's where they change the timing belt plus other fluids etc. I guess Ed Voyles is still a Mitsubishi dealership, but that's quite a bit further than Rick Case for me. Apparently Jim Ellis just became a Mitsu dealership in Marietta. I don't know anything about either one.
Rick Case always treated me well though in Roswell. There was only 1 time where they installed the Hyper Grounding Cable kit in my engine, and they installed it wrong, and the one cable started melting because it was too close to something hot in the engine. At first they told me they'd shorten the cable, but NOT replace it, and I got pissed with them and told them if they don't change the cable out for a new one, I'm never using their dealership again, and will never buy a new car there. After my rant, they replaced it free of charge.

I don't think Ed Voyles are official Mitsubishi dealer anymore too. Lou Sobh in Duluth just started to show up as Mitsubishi dealer in GA. I tried to call them last week and they weren't ready for Mitsubishi service as they didn't know what type of services need to be done on Evos..

I never got good experience at Rickcase in Duluth. Their service sucks and part department never could find the right part. When I went there to do the TSB for hood latch, they didn't replace it and told me I got aftermarket air intake and refuse to do the hood latch for me. However, they cleared the code and sent to Mitsubishi America saying they did the service already.

Hmm, after reading about a bunch of dealerships no longer associated with Mitsubishi, I wonder how the brand is doing financially? I remember years ago they were having issues, but really have lost touch with Mitsubishi lately. Work keeps getting in the way of fun. :(
I would have reservations taking my Evo to a new Mitsu service center. I wouldn't think they would be up to speed on the car's requirements and history.

Manchi, is the TSB for the hood latch only affecting the Evo X?

Yes, that TSB is only for 08 Evo X and Lancers
