New Car...?

ok... heres my situation:
IF my car is totalled, I'll be lucky to get about $23-24k for it, then I can buy it back, and part it out for another $5-6k. So I'll be at roughly $28-29k. I owe $8k on the STi now, so $8k would be gone immediately. So now I'm back down to $20k...

Heres the options that I've been looking at:
1. Buy a DD (Mazda 6, or something like it) and then build an FD or FC LS1
2. Buy a new Evo, and only owe a couple grand.
3. Put the money down on an M3 and still have payments.

What are your suggestions?

Here in Reno we are getting a few X in Jan. and we have a small shitty dealership, so Ed Voyles should have a few in Jan. Expect a LARGE markup! Id personally go with the M3 especally after driving my buddies E46. Are you going for an E46 or a new M3 when they come out? Also have you thought about the new 335i? :D

The new Evo ships out from Cali January 6th. Expect them to hit the lots the following week or 2. They should be priced in the mid 30s. If you want to mod, go new Evo, if you want luxury to M3, although you can mod a M3, it is very expensive.

An M3 is luxury sports car, but then again so is the Evo X:rolleyes:. I do like them both, but I have to admit that the X is growing on me.

What about the new BMW 135? Can anyone say factory track car? Twin turbo 300hp 6 cyl. with 6 piston calipers in the front-stock! It would be hella pricey, but I would take it over either the X or the M3.

Ide like to get a beater in the next month or so just for that reason. The 135 is down on the list a good bit. I plan on getting a beater, finishing the Evo, then getting either the 135 or the Supra next, Im not really sure, but the Evo should be done by the end of Summer. Im getting really close. It will be a BAMF in about 6months. Its not bad atm though ;)
