Well, my brakes were looking rather tired and faded, and my wheels were all nicked up. So, I decided to get off my butt and do something about it. I went for a rather different color scheme. I know some won't like it because:
A) it's spray paint
B) not an OEM brembo color

I spent half the day sanding and prepping. It was a lot of work, but considering the price and self-satisfaction, it was totally worth it. Overall, I'm happy with the results. I used Rustoleum graphite wheel paint and VHT blue/clear coat caliper paint. I had an extra VHT clear can so I cleared the wheels as well. I used 400 grit sand paper on the calipers and a red scotchbrite pad on the wheels. I will get some better pics with my digital camera later. For now, I'll have to post the pics from my iPhone. On to the pics...

I really want to do mine, but have no "push" to do so since they are still in okay shape. I'll eventually do them in a silver or gray I think. That blue looks really nice on yours though, and the gray wheels is a nice compliment.

The VHT paint is 900 degree paint, so it should hold up well. One thing that bothers me is that the wheels aren't fully cured yet. I guess it takes time. I just know that they will get dirty with me driving it, so I hope the dirt comes off without the paint coming off too.
