Hey whatsup guys,
I've been getting these wheel noises lately and they have been getting louder and louder as the days go by. Seems like the faster I go, the louder it progresses. I've come to the conclusion that it's either the tires or the wheel bearings. I can't pinpoint which one(s) it is but I'm leaning more towards thinking the wheel bearings are wearing out. What shops do you recommend to check it out & repair it at a great cost. I'd like to stay away from the dealerships if I can but will have to go to them if there are no recommended shops. I've got no warranty so everythings gonna be straight out of my pocket.

Also, I need a shop recommendation to fix some minor stuff on my car too. Need to replace my passenger mirror & my temperature knob for the A/C & heat broke off and I can't adjust the temperature. It was pretty hard to turn to heat previously.

Thanks guys.

Zen Motors. If the sound sounds worse or louder when turning left or right then its for sure the bearing. I had to replace both of mine

It only makes noise when I'm driving faster then 30mph. Definitely loud when I'm on 85.

-And you mentioned noises? are they squeels? or maybe humming-type noise?

It might be your drive shaft

the problem with the temp control is the cable that goes to it,( it runs on the driver side of the center console ) is bent, its right where the medal cable goes into the cable casing, was the same way on mine but all I did was bend it back straight and its worked every since

Sounds like humming. You know how some tires make noises, for example, trucks? It sounds more similiar to that. It gets louder the faster I go. It's really annoying when I get on the highway. I'd like it back to the way it was when it was quiet. I'm trying to pinpoint what it is. Haven't took it to the shop yet. Hopefully it's nothing too expensive. Can't be bad alignment although it doesn't swurve alot when I let go of the steering wheel when driving. I went over a median on my left driver side wheel a long time ago but it can't be that either. The sounds are coming from the right side, more within the rear. Maybe it could be the rotor on the right passenger side which is worn out? Hmm. Gotta take it to the shop to find a resolution before its too late. Hopefully nothing happens when I take it to work this week until my days off.

I use my car mainly as a DD so I just bought some Hankooks. It could be the tires, I gotta take it to a shop to make sure. If it is the tires, then I guess I'll have to bear with the noise until I buy some new tires. Definitely getting a different namebrand next time.
