You gotta pay to play. 150 would be cool for a civic, but how good could it really be for your evo?

Having said that, I know mishimoto does a decent radiator for evos, so im sure the IC is ok as well.

i dont believe in pay to play. you can play when you want to. its just how much you wanna pay to play that makes a difference.

to me its not that important.

It's barely even a Lancer & can be made to kill a Lamborghini. That being said, I think there are plenty of cheap parts that work as well as the expensive brands but I wouldn't want an intercooler without a decent core. And sometimes you do get what ya pay for.

Very, interesting point guys...^ about pay to play.
In many cases our vehicle reacts drastically different. Take for example mods such as tires, coilovers, Quife LSD & other LSD's in the aftermarket world. Going in the cheap direction will only yield deficient results in the end. Why not do it right the first time.

Take a peek on other boards on how much they bash our cars. Its expensive, overpriced, yada yada.....> the fact is no matter how much they invest into their cars they will never get the performance characteristic levels from what we get stock.

sir this ain't no lancer.

I'm using the eBay IC that Joey had before. Fitment sucks, but it's honestly better than stock. I'm sure its not as good as a $600 core, but it's not supposed to be.

Problem with cheap cores is heat soak isn't? They suck if used in a moderately warm day (IE power will suffer).

That being said if their radiators are any indicator then I doubt that it could be worse then some of the popular cheap choices. If you just want a cleaner looking IC why not get someone's stocker in relatively good condition for cheap.....actually it would only be a little cheaper.

nevermind.
