I know you guys have been wanting to know where the hell I've been, well sorta. Well if you don't know, I traded my 350z for a salvaged Evo this past November. Well, to make things short I havn't drove my evo once. After the body shop repaired the hell outta my baby, the first crank of the engine exposed a crazy sound coming from the engine. After 4k of engine mods down the drain, we get to the bottom of the engine to find out that everything is perfect. In fact, it was the body shop that forgot to bolt on my powersteering pump, and that was the sound.
So the good, car back by the end of the month with a scary fast engine.
The bad, well besides the cash, all the down time I've had since without transportation.
Also I'm needing it tuned as soon as the engine is finished, so if anyone has any recommodations, let me know.

Uhh full rebuild - Eagle rods, Wiseco pistons, BC springs retainers, Manley Crank, ARP main studs, MAP H11 head studs, clevite bearings, AEM gears, Kelford cams, Gates belts. That's about it for the engine.

Car will be completed sometime in the end of May, and I'm taking it directly to Batlground for tuning, and then spray glow for painting. I'll try to load up some pictures now.
Just some photos of the block work pre build. I'll update with the later.

That's a sweet looking build!
Also, good luck at battleground. Had a friend who's evo was ruined thanks to their tune!

I think I'll trust Battlground due to the love most of the community has for them. Once my wedding is over I plan on upgrading the turbo etc, and I still have to break in the motor so this tune is not permanent. But until I head up to Chicago in the Fall, or Miami in August, Battlground will satisfy my desires.

If you want a 2nd opinion on tuning, take your evo to Topspeed...I can't tell you how many bad ass evo's and subies have come outta (I should say from) that place...it's nuts. Their dyno has seen literally thousands of cars and as many happy customers. And if you know Doug and his prowess with all things tunable, you know you're in good hands.
My $.02

Yeah I'll take a look into it. Any other feelings about tunning, and turn around time?
