As some of you on here know Sean Ivey previously tuned my track Evo. Well the tune was great when the car was up north, but ever since it has gotten back down here the tune was just off. Obviously it's not that easy to get Ivey down here to retune. Furthermore it's more convenient to have Sharif retune the car. We are still in the early stages of tuning her and I can't put into words how much of an improvement the car has seen. Sharif is one hell of a tuner and I couldn't be happier with how things are going right now. The AFR's were all over the place before. Now they are getting closer to where they should be, although not complete. Sharif was nice enough to stay late last night after hours to work on the car. The car currently sits on 508.6 whp @ 23 psi on the dyno dynamics (C16 gas). Here are the current plots. (tune is not finished by any means)
Oh, and there is a kink in our dyno at around 5000rpm's from the ramp rate on FI cars for some reason. We are hoping to have the new software to fix this any day now :)

That is one smooth curve! I bet the power delivery is just as smooth on the road. It probably just pull like a freight train and never lets up. I want to see it in person one of these days.

We were actually laughing about it earlier because the way the dyno is loaded it makes it look like it doesn't hit full boost until 5000RPM which is far from the truth. In reality it is around 3800. We have verified this not only on the track but also on a dynojet.
It's about as smooth as can be on the road and pulls too hard for comfort :)

Why would you have taken it to Ivey in the first place, when you work at Forged and I'm sure it's free for you? Just curious. Not sure how much an elevation change from NJ to Ga but weather/temp probably has more to do with any necessary changes.

I needed a tune on the car when it was up north for a few events after the work was done at CBRD. Ivey was close, Sharif was not. I would have had to fly Sharif up to PA/NJ and back. Sharif tuned my car previously before Ivey and I have nothing but good things to say about it. It's all a matter of convenience.

I'll have more updates next week. We're going to run it at the current power level for this weekend. It will be back on the dyno Monday/Tuesday.

I haven't had any oil temp issues to date, but an upgraded oil cooler is in the plans for the near future. Yes, it's a 2.3 :)

No, actually going to Roebling Road in Savannah. Taking a customer to the track for the first time, so wanted something a bit more open/easy.
