bwhahahaha gotcha!!!!! but seriously i shaved my IX valve cover..i removed the "mivec turbo", the arrow that points towards the oil cap, and that company logo on the top right side of the vc......then finished it off with vht high temp wrinkle paint.... i also painted the timing gear cover and spark plug cover with the wrinkle paint.......let me know what you think.

Very nice. I kinda like the MIVEC marks on mine, but that looks really good with the wrinkly coating. Is it real thermal wrinkle coating or just something that looks like it?

There are some wrinkle coatings that have a higher thermal transfer rate which takes advantage of the increased surface area the coating provides to aid in cooling. The red coating on the manifold of the STI is a good example of a functional coating.

I have no idea who makes them or which ones actually work. I hoped you did, which is why I asked. lol.

Nice. Personally, I'd like to see a little splash of color somewhere or a different texture, but the stealth look works good too! Now just get a big, beefy mani and turbo and scare little kids with it!
