Just wanted to let you guys know I'm now equipped to flash the Evo X. If you want to make a trip to Alabama, I've got everything you need. I've had the ability to tune them remotely, but haven't really advertised it as I didn't have the Open Port 2.0 cable and could not flash locally.

Finished one yesterday ... hooked up a 3-port boost solenoid and tuned it from scratch. Intake, cat back and an HKS SSQ (bleh). The car and the owner both left very happy.

And I just tighten the crap out of the clamp and double check it after a couple of pulls ... no issues since. Replaced 2 sensors since though due to condensation damage.

We went with the Ingersol Rand solenoid that we sourced locally. It's the exact solenoid that Perrin uses and works great.

If you swap back, definitely go 3-port. The response is so much better and there is much more room for tuning the boost level. The stock solenoid is at 100% WGDC from the factory, just like the Evo VIII and IX. So, you're stuck with playing with pills for more boost and you've still got the slow response due to the bleed style setup.
