I say Yay, only because I've done this one my previous car & its more of a function then look IMO. If you do this make sure you get the L-shaped type. It will save your bumper(at the intersection of bumper & underpanel) from being chewed up by the prking deck bumps.

got any pics??

unfortunately...I don't have a picture the front of my previous car and posting a picture of another car maker than of a mitsubishi its sort of a blasphemy..:D

however I'll offer you the next best thing a Parts number(HD): #03749. If memory serves me right its called a Garage Door Sealer & is offered in 9ft-16ft. Their are a few different variations so research. IT WILL SAVE THE FRONT BUMPER

I gotta go with sil'vr. Its more of a way to protect the bumper.

Cheap and it doesn't look bad, for the time being, why not. Save for what you really want and use what Sil'vr said in the meantime. Why not no great hit to the pockets....

I'd say if you're strapped for cash then Yay, but if you can afford a RalliArt replica from Rexpeed then get it. It's like 400ish shipped. Looks way better.

This is how it looks on an Evo IX

i've done this before. Looks a lot better on a ix than a viii though i think. I did this after taking off my cf lip. cf lip on the ix's dont look good i think...they look way better on an viii. I had the home depot lip for like a month then got an se lip. Just didnt like the fact that it was a home made lip.

I might use this idea for an air dam on the under tray I'm planning to make. I need something with some flex that's easy to shape and mount. Looks about perfect!
