Ok so to get this section going I thought I would give everyone a review of the above.

Ate Super Blue fluid is Great because when flushing the system you know when you have flushed all the old fluid out. I believe the is an Ate Gold fluid as well...Anyone know for sure?

SS lines...wow! no fade and much stiffer pedal! enough said...

Hawk Hp Plus pads...Super inital bite and I have had No fade. The only downside (other than all the brake dust) is that they are the MOST NOSIE pads I have ever heard! You will get comments and looks with these VERY LOUD pads...I got over this quickly...almost a quick as I can now stop :D

FYI...this is with the stock Brembo rotors

They faded at TGP quite badly on me, but the combo is nice. Yes, there is an ATE gold.

ATE Blue and Gold are the same thing, just different colors so while bleeding the brakes you can tell when the system is completely flushed.

I just got my brake upgrade kit. Racing Brake Slotted Rotors (Front and Rear), Hawk HPS pads (Front and Rear) and Motul RBF Fluid. I need to install before next weekend, Suby Challenge. Might try to do it tomorrow if I can find some help, Never did these before so would prefer to have someone with knowledge available to lend a hand.

They felt nice at the most recent autox I attended.

YSLBTT, send a PM to our newest vendor -- Sakari Motorsports, his prices are always reasonable.

Ive heard nothing but good things about both the pads and the fluid. Im currently running Axxis Ultimates and they are great pads, but NOISY as hell! Everyone thinks i need new brakes, but on the last Dahelonga Mtn run i had no fade going downhill when most had to pull over and cool off. I think ill next be trying the HP Plus or the Ferodo 2500's if i can afford them lol.

I would be glad to lend a hand with it. After Kingwrex and I did mine I would love to help out! :D

Not a fan of Hawks, bad track experience with them. Colbolt's FTW. ATE is awesome. Alternating between Blue and Gold is great so you know when you've completely flushed the lines.

they basically disentagrated. I'll see if I can find pics. they also scored the hell out of my rotors, which ended up cracking at a later date.

I am getting Hawk HPS front/rear pads, S.S. lines, and Motul fluid. I think they will be more suitable for a dd that only sees occasional mtn runs.

I went from OEM --> Hawk HP + --> Hawk HPS --> EBC Green --> EBC Red --> Hawk HP +

Although they're noisy, they're the best compromise between track and street without chewing though your rotors like a full track pad will. You just gotta get used to the noise (which you will learn to control). I went back to HP + becuase I couldnt deal with the noise :)

The fluid is pretty reasonable and about the same price everywhere, as for the rest of it you'll have to hunt for the best prices.
