okay im decided to make this its own thread..... this is the whole story front to back any input would be great....

i swaped heads with ryan...he had no ses light or probs.. well i did the zip tie method with the cams and timing belt... got everything back together and no probs(deff not my first rodeo)... well before getting tuned i pulled all my egr stuff off and ofcourse i threw a code.... before tuning i double checked and the egr code was the only one i had.. well after tuning i started to pull out of the parking lot and the light came on... had scott check it and it was p0011... he said it was there before tuning... i was like whaatttt.. i didnt see it when i pulled the codes.... well before tuning he cleared the code witch i had no idea he did or was even aware it was there, and he proceeded to tune me...well any way i swapped mivec cam sensors...came back on.... so i double checked the timing.. everything seems good, lined up great.. cam gears line up with the valve cover and the crank mark is right at the upside down "t".... so while it was at tdc i check the trigger wheel and the white mark is up top at the 11 oclock position..... so everything checks out good and i cant figure out what the damn deal is.. i did notice when i started the car at tdc the light went off... but it came back on later.... im going to try and set it at tdc agian and start it and see if it goes off....but please help!!!!!! sorry for the story

BTW: by no means am i saying this is a tuning issue...scott is a great tuner and nice guy.. also very very thorough(*sp) with the car and tuning....

Some cams don't like lots of MIVEC advance, but if Ryan's car ran a similar map fine, then that shouldn't be the issue. If you wanted to troubleshoot the tune then pulling down the MIVEC would be the first step. But, generally, if the MIVEC map didn't agree with the cams you'd have knock all over the place and the code.

What manifold are you running? Does it act up only when hot? Maybe a heat issue?
