Anyways, so I've had this car since 2006. It's my second. I sold the first one to have some money for insurance and such for the Evo back in 2005.
the first corolla:
http://i118.photobucket.com/albums/o120/myko2012/corolla/hatchback.jpg
the second corolla after an 8 hour wax and buff:

freshly repainted valve covers:
http://i118.photobucket.com/albums/o120/myko2012/corolla/carrottop.jpg
the way you see it sit now is with all the suspension and other various parts ive done. they consist of:
TRD Race springs 8kg/mm front and 6kg/mm rear
MR2 KYB AGX front strut cartridges
Camaro KYB AGX rear shocks
T3 camber plates
T3 NCRCAs
High flow cat
HKS Hi-Power catback
TRD header
ACT street disk
ACT HD pressure plate
Illegal Garage 8lbs flywheel
Sparco seat
Momo suede 350mm steering wheel
Megan quick release steering hub
Red top, high compression, small port 4age swap
14x7 Konig rewinds
fully gutted interior
and probably something else ive forgotten about
As of lately, I've installed a Megasquirt stand alone ECU, deleted the AFM using a GM IAT and currently working on an ITB set up using ae101 silvertop ITB, T3 ITB adapter, and Weber velocity stacks.
For those of you who are unfamiliar with Megasquirt (MS), these ECUs come relatively cheap since you have to put them together. You have the availability of customizing your ECU build, tailoring it to pretty much your every need.
Here how it looks:
the mainboard, i started soldering some of the resistors already

Very neat project you have their sir.
I had a little experience/exposure with circuit boards. And enjoyed it very much. It was one of those 300 in 1 project they use to sell at Radio Shack...:D
However I can never imagine doing that with evo. I might end up electrocuting myself to a crisp with all the electronic gadgetry in ebo.

looks good! If you don't live to far away from downtown, you might consider checking out the Freeside hackerspace near Turner Field. It's basically a 5500sq ft communal workspace that about 100 DIYers rent and share. It's got a bunch of tools (air tools, welders, wood shop, electronics, etc) and two huge car bays. A handful of the guys there have a lot of experience with Megasquirt. We're about to start building one for a Porsche 914 project one of the guys has going.
seeing what you've done, sounds like it might be right up your alley :) Meetings are every Tuesday at 7:30 - www.freesideatl.org - more details on the wiki
edit: more shameless plugs ;)

Actually, yes. That's Russ. Been friends with him since 2003. I don't think you've seen MY corolla up there. You may have seen my old corolla or my friend's corolla up there, another asian dood name Huy. You may have even seen my Evo up there. He works for DIY. The three of us used to go up to Deal's Gap too.
Fuck you, Jon. I had about 75 posts previous before this thread. You know what? Give me back my tune. I'll give it to someone else who's more deserving.

Looks good! Caps, diodes, resistors, chips, alright that's up my alley. You know I am the ONLY Electronic Systems Tech (948B) on Benning, LOL. But really I am, when I am there. Can't wait to get back to the crib, looks like things are starting to pick up although I think Paul said you were leaving soon.....that'd suck.

i did some more work tonight. i finished up the power steering lines. removed the intake manifold, EGR, and charcoal canister. there were a couple of coolant lines i had to recirculate. im going to have to look into it some more to see if i can remove some of them without too much pressure build up.

i have thought about a 20v swap, but it would have been the Blacktop.
i wanted to go this route because...well, i just wanted something to do without breaking the bank. 20v swaps are generally more expensive. and this way is just way much more betterer, gooder, and funner.
i got some really good deals on various parts and such. i ended up paying less than $1200 for the main components:
ITBs
ITB adapter
LC-1 w/gauge
Megasquirt
velocity stacks
vacuum manifold
if i would have gone with the BT 20v, im sure i would have ended up paying a lot more by a grand or two.
plus it gives me money to get other things like a new rear end and possibly some cosmetic parts...i dont know

finally got shorter studs for the head and short bolts for the ITBs.
took off the old wire loom for more flexibility trying to do a semi tuck.
did the wiring for the injectors for a cleaner look when i finally put some loom on them.
put the fuel rail on.
