are there gonna be any tuners in town this weekend... im not looking for a full blown tune but after my major part(s) upgrade the car is barley drivable.. i would like to just get it where i can drive it safely till i get tuned hopefully in a week or two?? let me know

Everything off of blewbybayou's car minus the turbo.Pretty extensive. His car is probably flowing a shit ton of air compared ota stock motor now.

ummmm went from stock to ryans mr minus the bbk turbo..lol so s2 cams w/ springs and retainers, 780cc inj, fuel pump, ported intake and ported throttle body, ic and piping, and a few other things.... i have a cel light now but havnt had a chance to scan it yet to see what it is.... the car is prob like what the hell did you do to me..bwahhaha

forged is gonna tune me for the time being but depending on my work schedule it could be a week or 2 so i would like to have someone kinda dial the map in a little so it can idle/drive better.....

Try to put someone with similar mods map on yours or Ryans map. That'd get a good place to start from. Just a suggestion....

Ryans map wont work since it was tuned with the BBK Full on there......it mau be better then what he has now.....I think the first step is to pull the code.....you may be able to make it driveable until Forged can get you squared up.

Pulling the code is easy peasy. Just use a windows laptop and a tactrix cable and a program called scantech. I have this all setup on my laptop if you want some help. Also you should be able to go to any auto zone and get the code pulled.

Exactly. If you don't have a tactrix cable, I suggest you buy one. They are multi-purpose.

The code is likely "System too rich" because of the injectors. If you have a Tactrix cable, I can e-mail you a map tomorrow to get the car drivable.

Guys, be careful giving advice like this. No one has mentioned immobilizer codes when talking about swapping maps around.

IF YOU CONNECT YOUR CAR TO ECUFLASH, SAVE YOUR STOCK MAP! We now know how to get around the immobilizer, but it's best to keep it in tact.

okay guys i found ses light code is p0118 aka Temperature Circuit High Input... i tryed erasing the code and it came right back..... i checked the connection at the t-stat housing and everything looked good...so this is kinda weird...... but as far as map me and ryan were initially gonna trade ecus but as mentioned above the immobilizer would let that happen..sooooo now what.lol i guess ill wait till next week or two to goto forged but im waiting to get a uicp before... i just received my egr block off plate also...

Could be stuck open instead of closed? How long does it take the car to warm up?

no longer than normal... and temp is at its normal operating temp when it is warm....

i did notice today that when the car is at normal operating temp the lower rad hose is cold... prob the t-stat huh? would that cause this code?

Mike.p where/who did you get the EGT block off. If the Rad hose is cool then t-stat stock closed? If you don't have a water temp gauge it be running a little hot but not enough to make your OEM gauge move past the normal point.

stm has 2 block off plates, 1 with their logo, 1 without... cheap and emery is a pretty cool guy.

For the Mazda, we just made one. Pretty easy if you have access to tools and scrap aluminum. Could be done with a dremel probably. I'm trying to load a pic, but Facebook is being stupid.
