Hey guys. I'm a new member to evoATL, but I've been a member on EvoM for a while. Anyway, just saying whats up. I've had an Evo VIII-had a 2.3L and alot of mods- and traded it in for a X- mostly stock. Heres some pics of em.

Thanks man. I have a Cobb AP with a Perrin Stage 1 map, and a Perrin drop-in filter, and a TWM short shifter, TWM shift knob, and shifter bushings, yellow fogs, and 20% tint. Not much.

I also have a Nisei upper, lower, and intake pipe in Nisei Red coming in friday. I have a Buschur "Quiet" Exhaust sitting in my garage. Its not on the car yet because it has a slightly bent tip but my uncle owns a machine shop and it should be straightend soon and then I will be getting a test pipe soon.

Welcome, any comparison between the 8 and 10? Pro's and con's? I am just interested in what you think about the 2 models.

Thanks guys. Yea the 8 was awesome. Sooooo fast. :) It was just time to get something new. The X is just what I needed.

I still miss the 8 tho. I miss it all the time.

Welcome, any comparison between the 8 and 10? Pro's and con's? I am just interested in what you think about the 2 models.

I would say the VIII was just a monster. Raw power. Not many amenities, but was just sick. I loved it and still miss it to this day.

The X is totally different. Slower, more comfortable interior, blah blah blah..
I love the X too. The handling of a X is unbelievable.

Cons on the X GSR:
Needs sixth gear or something.(Inside is LOUD on highway)
Heavier/Slower
I wish the freaking economy was better so I had more money for mods(not really the X's fault tho. haha.)

And that's about it. I've had it a year since 29th of Jan. No problems.
