Dad purchased it NEW from a dealer in VA in 1983.

I finally acquired it in March of 2007.

Gets about 8~9mpg around town, 15.5 empty on the interstate, 12mpg when overloaded with 2000lbs of subaru parts with the camper shell on it.

Engine: 302 cubic inch Ford V8 (5.0 litres), stock intake and shitty motorcraft carburetor. It does have a new 3inch 3way cat with a FlowMaster and dual exhaust from the muffler back. Going to replace that with something quieter when I get headers/manifold redone.

Has some big tyres compared to stock on 15x10 steelies.

Otherwise, its stock and has most of the OE equipment on it.

No A/C tho. But I'm working on adding it.

It's a "real man's truck". I'd hate to put gas in it though, ouch.

Refuel every 3 days...$55~$60 a fill up.

Oh no...it made a 30 mile interstate trip on sunday...and takes me to lunch every day. It just needs an endless list of things before I put a 'legal' tag back on it.

Otherwise, the truck is the DD for now. 60 miles a day.
