Was on the way home today, spotted a white wingless evo with a plate ...kuma, ( bad memory, sorry ) pulled next to me and asked if I'm a local and mentioned the forum. My good buddy (WantToEvolve) told me about this place a couple of weeks ago. I usually hover the posts on evom, evoxforums, nasioc, buschurs forums (hi boost) and others, but didn't know we had a local forum. I think I've seen 2 Evo X's in real life...mine and another guy with a RR one who is selling it because he can't afford the payments (bummer man!). Yea, it has been a long time. I haven't been to an Athens meet in I don't know how long. I'm not sure which Cobra you're talkin about cuz I've had 3. As far as Evos... This is my 3rd RS. Technically I bought my 2nd RS back from the guy I sold it to.

Hey Atlanta, I just moved here about a week ago from San Diego. Just looking for fellow EVO's and car ethusiasts in the area. We had a really tight crew in Cali and I'm trying to find the same love out here. These boards need to open up some, back in Cali local evo boards were off the chain and we had weekly meets. I know this is not Cali and not as many Evo's but that's what makes it easier for us to be tight and help each other out and have some good times. I visited Forged Performance and I heard Top Speed was good too. A little background on myself, I've been in the Marine Corps for 12 years and I'm originally from NY. I've been assigned out here on recruiting duty out of Douglasville but I live in Marietta. I love turbo'ed cars and I love the scene, hopefully I get a chance to meet some good ppl out here, here's a couple of pics of my ride:

Welcome Marc. While this forum/community is not as large as Cali it still has a tight brotherhood, being in the Marines you can relate, but sometimes can be a little quiet. We are trying to remedy that now though. I was also a recruiter, but in the Army and retired in 09 so it's good to see a fellow "put em in boots" type.
