Possibly the most aggressive sounding cam?!? (video inside, not my car)

I havent heard another evo sound like this one. It has a Red on it but Im not sure if that has any effect on the exhaust note/lope. I think how a cam is degreed and/or timed can affect lope too. Damn those FP5R's sound aggressive! Kinda remind me of Revolvers. What do yall think?

Im glad somebody else posted! Now I know its not just me. Those cams sound nasty. BTW, I thought Andy had the FP4R's?!? Maybe he will chime in.

Lol, that was Mike P's car. We were just talking about that video clip two or three days ago. He had side exit exhaust before the front passenger tire. Im sure he will chime in shortly

Can somebody explain what made the Revolver's sound so nasty? I think they were 262* with 11.5 lift. Theyre plenty of cams that exceed those specs but none of them sound like that.

Yeah they did. I assume the lift (11.5) is what made them sound like that. I just compared them to the GSC cams. The S3's are the only one's that have 11.5 lift and they are 280's.

hey that red evo is/was mine!!!!!!!!! that car was ungodly!!!! in the vid it was a reg open dp.... ugh im gettin another evo here real soon and plan on doing a 2.3 and fp black.. but im torn between revolvers or the fp5r for my next set of cams.. but the reason they are soo aggressive is because of the combination between the lift and lsa...
