I am finally ready to sell this car. Its been a fun year, but the car is just not for me. I am going to get back into another S2000 or a used Porsche. I just really do not like boosted cars. So on to the sale.

2006 White Evolution IX RS
$20,000 OBO *******will consider all offers***********

Service History:
I am a certified Porsche Technician and I do all my own repairs, beside tuning(Forged). All maintaince items were replaced with OEM parts:
Timing belt and balance belt @ 30,000 miles
ALL fluids replaced@ 50,000 miles except brake fluid(waiting on lines)
regular oil changes with mobil synthetic and OEM filter
Drive belt bought last week, will be installed before sale

54,000 miles

Modifications-(Will include stock parts, unless I dont have them)
BR=Buschur Racing
Engine:
BR full hard pipes
BR larger intercooler
BR intake
BR mini battery kit
BR O2 housing
BR full 3" exhaust(magnaflow muffler)
BR test pipe with O2 fix
HKS 272 cams (intake and exhaust)
Walbro 255 fuel pump
ARP head studs
Aeromotive fuel pressure regulator,(nice piece)
Halman manual boost controller
SMC methanol/water injection kit.(might be removed and re-tuned)
Tune:
Very conservative tune by Forged
21lbs of boost with Snow Performance Boost Juice kicking in at 16lbs. With the recent cold weather, cams, and summer tune the car occationally throws a CEL only at idle for system too lean.
Never has the light come on during an engine load. Also the car does have ARP head studs.
Interior:
Radio relocation kit with 3 gauge pods.
AEM EUGO sensor/gauge (brand new sensor,300 miles)
Unknown brand boost gauge
Greddy turbo timer
Eclipse head unit with some speakers( I am not an audio guy, talk radio)
Exterior:
BBS wheels
Shaved rear badges
Factory wingless
Suspension/handling:
Swift springs
Whiteline 24mm rear sway bar(adjustable, might part out)
Brand new DBA 4000 series slotted rotors front and rear
Brand new Hawk HP plus pads front and rear(very noisy cold, but stops are amazing!!)
Brand new still in box Goodridge SS brake lines

I know I probably forgot some things. I will add later when I remember.

Such a beautiful and rare car! You don't see too many RS's on the road. I wanted one really bad but gave up on the search for a used one.

Nice car. Curious about not wanting to own a turbo car. Did you have bad experiences or something else.

I've been dying to buy an S2K for a daily driver.

IMO a turbo is just another thing that can cause a very expensive repair. Plus cost of maintaince is ridiculous, I also need a more practical DD. I worry too much about every little noise. Never had that with the S2000. I need peace of mind.

Ah, I didn't know that was your car. I've ran into you a couple times at RA when I had my blue S2k (not sure if you remember or not).

I bought the car at 30k miles. In the 20k miles I owned it I changed the fluids at 50k, all OEM fluids.

Yeah, no car payment and cheaper insurance is very appealing. I miss my S, it's amazing how cheap they are now! The ones I am looking at are around $9-$11k!!! Gives me enough for a hardtop, exhaust, suspension, and wheels. With money to spare. It makes too much financial sense. Thanks everyone for the help so far!

My insurance actually decreased with the Evo compared to the S2K. :)

The Evo is not paid off, the S will be. That will open up some cheaper insurance options. Plus my insurance went up about $300 a year when I bought the Evo.

I'd give my son anything...except an Evo for his 16th bday(which will be in the year 2021). IMHO, no 16 yr old is responsible enough to handle an Evo.

X2, my son thinks he's getting mine too. Ummm, no.

Sam, now you want an Evo again huh, LOL.....

BigRic09 is looking for another Evo. I'll tell him about this one, he is looking to do his thing with it. Him and the Force Fed Crew in NC. He just got back from Korea and is on the look out for another one, I'll let him know.
