Im in the market for a set of 255/35/18's. I dont know very much about tires/brands. I doubt if I ever autocross my car. It may see that 1/4 a few times this year. I dont want a "cheap" tire and I dont need an expensive tire. Im looking for a "mid-level" tire/brand. I was looking at the Falken FK452's. Any suggestions on them or any other tire? BTW, Discountire has them for $166 each. Thanks in advance.

I wouldn't call them mid level but bang for the buck get Dunlop Z1*

You didn't specify if you were looking for summer or all-season tires. If summer then I also suggest Dunlop Direzza Star Spec Z1s. I used these for autocross and you can't beat the "bang for the buck" value.

Thanks for the fast replies yall. I guess I shouldve stated that my target price is around $150 a tire. I want an all season tire. I will look both of those brands/tires up. Thanks again.

Falken sells some decent all-season tires. I had some Ziex 912s (I think they were) and was impressed with the grip.

I have Bridgestone Potenza RE760 Sport on one of my cars & Yokohama S.drive sometime ago, both rated above 300 for thread wear, but still perform decently on the street, runs about about $170s each.
