I was wondering if there are any good powdercoating shops in the greater Atlanta area? I'm considering having my wheels powdercoated flat black or gunmetal.

I wish I could help, but I'm not too familiar with any shops that are good. Maybe Andy can possibly do it for you.

I did some research and came across two companies in the Atlanta area. They are
http://www.wheelwizard.com/index.htm
and
http://www.spillsypowdercoating.com/
I sent them an e-mail requesting a price quote and turn around time. I just have to wait for a response now.

i had my stockers done from a local guy here next to me. probly around 200 bucks. only thing with him is he dosent have a big enough blaster to take off factory paint. but i was pleased with his work...

One of those links I posted does media blasting to remove the stock paint so the powder coating can adhere better.

I do some minor powdercoating but I don't have an oven big enough for wheels.

I have my Supra's turbo exhaust manifold hi-temp treated by http://www.millerpowdercoating.com/
They are pretty well known in GA for their work.

I just got a quote for $800 for all four powder coated with a four day turn around time for Wheel Wizard. Yikes.

I got a different quote from BJ Miller powder coating for $65 per wheel which includes stripping down to the bare metal and then powder coating. That sounds more reasonable.

I'm assuming they have different colors but I had specifically asked them about black.
