Well I couldn't figure out why my drivers side headlight kept fogging up so I did what any sain person would do. I cut a big friggin hole in it :D I always liked the look of headlight ducts so I figured what the hell & gave it a shot. Here's sum pics.

Thanx, not sure but I doubt it. Not sure if you are required to have high beams or not. I don't think it'll be an issue.

^ lol
i just had a visual.
i was gonna do that to mine but i was worried the dust and gravel will get into the HID lens and fuck it up. not to mention when it rains it will get super dirty
if there is a way to block off the hole from the HID lens i would soo do this.

I like it alot. Did you have to cut the glass in order to do that?

That is so badass. I LOVE it. I always wanted a duct for the intake. A++++++++++

That looks amazing! I really like my fogs, so this wouldn't be an option for me, but I know some people that would love it. This would work great with the MPFab heatshield ...

You need to post a "How To" on this.

While this would be cool, I'd poop myself in fear of destroying my lights. I say let the pro handle it if you want this done.

Yes. Basicly I couture out a hole in the lense. Then I cut holes in the reflectors. I used black door edge molding to trim the lense.

yup that'd be nice. Block out he heat and trap the fresh cool air from the duct

I'll wrote the basics of what was done in the post above but I didn't take any pcs so I you have any specific questions just ask. And yeah there ain't much room for error. So if yer not completely comfortable doing this then j don't suggest trying cause you could easily damage yer light and there is no going back. Best thing would be to find a used light to do it on.

How long does this process take you? You my man have mad SKILLS. You are making me want to throw some money in your direction when I return home.

I'd be more likely to build a carbon light replacement with a similar duct. Probably cheaper than a spare headlight.

I messed with it for about 3 days in my spare time. I pulled it appart & remembered I killed my dremmen werkin on my inake a while back. Then I bought a new cordless on & that POS didn't last a day. Then finally I borrowed Rynos & finished it up. All in all it can be done in 3-4 hours.

Cheaper yes, but not quite a sexy & can't be used all the time ;)

Very nice!
What did you use to sculpt and buff out the rough edges(dremel?)
----
Andy.. I have a pair TSX projectors if you want experiment with. I planned on switching my HID projectors with these.(Just have no time to do so)
I believe Stanely makes all evo projectors. The stock Stanelys on my evo are ok, but the TSX are 2X better in color output, light output & have a very finer cut-off compared to OEM.
If you can figure out how to completely seal off the headlights, HELL! I believe this could be my next mod.
